The CIPS Australasia Conference and Supply Management Awards will take place as scheduled on 29 - 30 July 2020 at ICC Sydney.

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the current guidance from the local Government and the World Health Organisation and as such this event will be taking place as planned. Our priority during this time is the safety of our event attendees and our teams, and we will continue to closely monitor the development of the COVID-19/Coronavirus and any potential impact on our event.

Phil Chalkley is the Head of Procurement at Transdev Australasia.  Previously Phil was the Chief Procurement Officer at the Department of Justice & Regulation in Victoria.  

Over his career, Phil has worked in a wide range of industries covering transport, energy utilities, financial services, government, telecommunications, consultancy, FMCG, and retail while working in Australia, Europe, United Kingdom, Asia and the United States.

Phil started out as a Contract Manager and throughout his 25 plus years’ in Procurement and Supply Chain for leading organisations, has experienced and work through in all aspects of the end to end lifecycle, with a particular interest in driving and demonstrating the value and benefits of procurement technology, and interest in the emerging areas such as block chain and robotics.  

Phil has also led major transformations and implementation of procurement technology.

Phil is also Chair of the Victorian branch of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
