Marli Smith

Marli is an experienced procurement and supply chain leader with international experience in the defence, oil, gas and mining industries.

Since joining ASC in 2017, as the Head of Procurement, Marli has been responsible for the leadership of ASC’s Procurement capability in support of Australia’s Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) fleet.

ASC’s procurement capability supports all submarine maintenance activities in Adelaide, Perth and for deployed boats internationally, in pursuit and achievement of beyond benchmark global performance.

Prior to joining ASC, Marli held senior procurement and supply chain roles at companies including Santos and Anglo American. Marli attained her legal degree at the University of South Africa.
