The CIPS Australasia Conference and Supply Management Awards will take place as scheduled on 29 - 30 July 2020 at ICC Sydney.

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the current guidance from the local Government and the World Health Organisation and as such this event will be taking place as planned. Honey Meares

Honey is a highly experienced professional with over 17 years of practice in strategic procurement and supply chain across a diverse range of industries including energy, manufacturing, FMCG and healthcare. This diverse career experience is underpinned and deepened by a range of academic qualifications including a Master of Public Health and an MBA.

In her current role as New Zealand Procurement Manager for BP Oil New Zealand she is responsible for heading the procurement function in-country and for ensuring local business objectives are achieved and enhanced through pragmatic alignment with regional and global procurement strategy.
She has long been instrumental in developing and executing procurement strategy, driving procurement excellence and leading continuous improvement projects to advance maturity and to elevate the function’s strategic value.

Intent on cultivating and leading high performing teams, and with a focus on relationships and partnering to deliver innovative and commercially astute outcomes, Honey’s passion and dedication permeates all aspects of her career and personal life.
