The CIPS Australasia Conference and Supply Management Awards will take place as scheduled on 29 - 30 July 2020 at ICC Sydney.

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of CIPS) are following the current guidance from the local Government and the World Health Organisation and as such this event will be taking place as planned. Our priority during this time is the safety of our event attendees and our teams, and we will continue to closely monitor the development of the COVID-19/Coronavirus and any potential impact on our event.

Andrea Morton

Andrea has over 25 years’ experience across the private and public sector. Starting her career as graduate sales trainee in the Information Technology (IT) sector – a great grounding in connecting with people and listening to what people value. After a number of years Andrea leveraged the skills developed into managing suppliers and procurement. In her current role as she leads the procurement function of Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, the New Zealand government agency responsible for public housing and large scale urban regeneration. Andrea has agency-wide responsibility for strategic sourcing and supplier management across all categories ranging from civil works, construction, remediation and property maintenance, to information technology, learning & development, and everything in between.

Andrea is an experienced commercial manager, people leader and influencer who views challenges as opportunities and is always interested in learning more about what matters most to organisations, stakeholders, staff and customers. She has enjoyed building a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience across both the public and private sectors; experience that has enabled her to work for some great organisations and with some inspiring people.
