CIPS Australasia Conference and Supply Management Awards - Update: 31 March 2020

CIPS and Haymarket Media Group (who deliver events on behalf of the CIPS) continue to follow the guidelines set out by the local government and are closely monitoring the situation with regard to Coronavirus on a daily basis. The welfare of our event attendees is always front of mind. Based on current local government advice, we are exploring all the available options, with regards to this event. AJ joined the Department of Environment, Water, Land & Planning in 2017 as the Chief Procurement Officer. AJ provides overall leadership of the procurement function in DELWP including governance, policy and training, category management and strategic sourcing.

AJ has spent over 18 years in procurement or consulting across industries including IT, telecommunications, government, education and FMCG. AJ’s experience includes sourcing, category management, purchasing, technology, governance and policy.

AJ oversees the effectiveness, commercial value, speed of engagements and compliance of procurement engagements in the department which has a around greater than $500m of annual third party spend.
