Scott McNeice has been working within the area of Procurement for 15 years. Since 2012 Scott has managed key Categories such as Professional Services, IT Procurement, Print and recently Corporate Travel for Australia Post. In March 2018 Scott launched Australia Post’s first Travel Policy. Scott initially began his career with Hewlett Packard overseeing returned IT Hardware Management procedures. After 3 years he was helping in the Sales team and then later in the Procurement team. In 2003 Scott worked with Coles/Myer which covers over 60,000 employees and has an aggressive IT Category Management team working with many internal stakeholders and external Vendors throughout Australia. His main role was the bulk purchasing of End User Computing equipment. In 2008 Scott moved to World Vision Australia where for 5 years helped overhaul their IT Procurement purchasing systems and enhance their technology for World Vision Aid staff to have greater access in remote geographic locations. Working closely with Tim Costello at the World Vision Head Office in Burwood Victoria, Scott developed an appreciation for Social Procurement with how it can transform global communities and villages. Procurement could not only save money but it could actually save lives. Scott has a passion for climate change, social awareness and embracing diversity. Scott is currently working with Qantas Australia to acquire Carbon Offsetting on all fuel emissions for Corporate Travel at Australia Post. This is a small way of building a sustainable future for the planet and future generations.
